    FAQS

    • How do the textures of natural and engineered stone differ?

Most stone slabs for natural and engineered stone come in a polished finish. It can be difficult to tell the difference! Depending on the type, some natural stones come in other finishes such as; honed or leather. Some suppliers of engineered stone also offer a matte finish for selected colours. Visit our showroom to view the options.

    • What are the benefits of using a larger slab size?

Larger slab sizes require less joins, making for a more seamless result. They are often also more cost-effective for the same reason!

    • What is the thickness of a stone benchtop?

Most commonly, stone slabs come in 20mm thick. However, some stone slabs are available in 10mm and 30mm sizes. To create a thicker look, we can mitre or laminate the edge of your benchtops to any size of your choosing.
