STONE VANITIES & SPLASHBACKS

Make a true statement with a stone bathroom vanity, shower niche or feature wall. Stone works particularly well in bathrooms because it is durable, hard-wearing and available in a range of colours and textures. There’s no end to the ways you can customise and improve upon your existing space. Stone benchtops and surfaces have minimal joins opposed to tiles, making them seamless and easier to clean and maintain. The team at West Stone Benchtops will provide a quote, consult you through the stone design process and complete a full stone installation. Utilising materials from leading brands like Caesarstone and Quantum Quartz, we ensure bathroom installations that are elegant, well-made and guaranteed to last.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How can I protect my bathroom vanity from hard water stains and deposits?

It is relatively easy to keep bathroom vanities clean—a mixture of water and mild soap will usually do the trick. Use a soft microfibre cloth when cleaning and avoid using brush cleaners, as this might be too abrasive for your vanity’s surface. Hard water stains can be removed by wiping the surface with a mixture of white vinegar and water.

  • Can you replace the benchtop and sink of my existing vanity?

Yes. Your vanity doesn’t need to be removed entirely if you like your existing cabinetry. A stone benchtop and new fixtures go a long way to making the vanity feel like something new entirely. Talk to our team about the creative ways you can update your bathroom without simply replacing everything!

  • What are the most commonly used surface types for bathroom vanities?

There are a variety of surface types that you can choose from for your bathroom. This includes marble tops, granite and engineered quartz benchtops. Solid surfaces are the most ideal for bathrooms since these do not trap bacteria and other harmful microbes, unlike tiled surfaces.
